About COAT
Family-owned. Principle-driven. Excellence-finished surfaces from garages to warehouses.
Meet the Team

The vision for COAT began in the aisles of a flooring warehouse. Fresh out of Texas A&M's Mays Business School, I stepped into my first job in the industry. We sold every type of flooring you could imagine — hardwood, tile, carpet — across remodels, spec homes, and commercial projects.
But one surface always got overlooked: the garage.
I saw the opportunity immediately — epoxy, polish, concrete finishing — transforming the spaces people actually live and work in. Home gyms, man caves, family garages. Real spaces for real life.
That seed never left. Over the years, I worked in and out of construction — walking job sites, managing subs, working with custom builders. The vision kept growing from garage epoxy into something more: polished interiors, warehouse coatings, industrial systems.
After our son Valor was born, I felt an unmistakable call to live with more courage — to stop playing it safe, to lead by example, to build something meaningful. Vivian — a gifted design specialist — and I launched COAT to serve others with excellence and build with principle.

Our Mission
We transform overlooked spaces into surfaces built to last — where principle meets performance, and every detail reflects excellence.
As we build, we give. A portion of all profits is dedicated to two causes close to home: helping raise up the next generation through leadership and skills development, and fighting sex trafficking across the Texas Triangle — one of the nation’s most active corridors. We partner with local organizations to support prevention, survivor care, and community awareness, because excellence at work should always be matched by integrity in service.
Our Values — IRON
We do what’s right when it’s costly and inconvenient. From scopes and safety to change orders and cleanup, our word is our bond.
Predictable starts, clear updates, and finishes you can count on. If plans shift, you know first — and you know why.
Every job is “our” floor. We anticipate issues, own outcomes, and stand behind our work long after the final walkthrough.
We treat homes, businesses, and crews like they’re our own — with respect, safety, and service that strengthens the community.
Now that you know us, let's talk about your project.
